Though it was only the first night of action in the 2015 edition of the CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Women, Wednesday provided Volleyball fans with a couple of real sensations, including the amazing 3:2 home victory claimed by Germany’s champions DRESDNER SC in their match with Russia’s giant Dinamo MOSCOW (22-25, 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, 18-16). After 131 minutes of real drama and coming back from two sets down, the home heroines sealed their victory at Margon Arena with an ace by their American middle blocker Cursty Jackson, one of the latest additions to their roster.
