Dinamo edges Crvena Zvezda for second home win of the League Round
2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Women

Moscow, Russia, November 15, 2012. Dinamo MOSCOW scored on Thursday its second win in the prelims of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women after edging Crvena Zvezda BEOGRAD of Serbia with the score of 3:1 (25-13, 25-17, 23-25, and 25-14).
It was very loud in the sports hall there in Russia’s capital city where the fans of the football club Spartak got together to cheer on the guests from Serbia as they had done also last year. Dinamo easily claimed the first set of the match but Crvena Zvezda played full of energy in the second set but still this was not enough to stop the march of the home side. Dinamo lost composure in set 3 probably thinking the game was already cashed and the side from Serbia could stretch the match before the Muscovites easily re-asserted their supremacy in the fourth, thereby pocketing the game with the score of 3:1.
“The fans of Crvena Zvezda were very loud since the start of the match and they never stopped cheering on our opponents. As for the game, it wasn’t too difficult; it is our fault as we lost focus in the third set” says Dinamo player Ekaterina Krivets.
“In my country Volleyball is extremely important and popular, so I am not surprised that so many fans of Crvena Zvezda were in attendance today” adds Dinamo head coach and Serbian-born Svetlana Ilic. “As for the game, I am not very happy with the result and we’ll discuss carefully with my players what happened in the third set”.
