Zeljko Bulatovich: Dinamo Moscow must play in the CEV Champions League
Earlier, it was announced that Russia can be represented by four clubs in the men's and women's Champions League in the 2020/21 season. The basic principle of participation of teams remained the same-according to the rating of national federations. Russia is among the leaders and has the right to declare three clubs at once in the group stage. However, a new option has been added: teams whose results meet a couple of conditions can also qualify: they will play in two of the last three Champions League tournaments and will be ranked no lower than fifth in the national championship in the 2019/20 season. These conditions in Russia among women's clubs correspond to Dinamo Moscow, which last season became the fourth in the national championship.

"A club like Dynamo (Moscow) should play in the CEV Champions League if possible. This is one of the best clubs in Europe, it has a place in the Champions League. Of course, we are happy with this news. The Champions League is the strongest tournament in Europe. Every player, every coach dreams of playing in this tournament. But the qualification format and schedule are still unknown, which will largely depend on the situation with the coronavirus. We will wait for news, " Bulatovich said.

Pre-qualification for the Champions League is scheduled to start on September 22, and the group stage is scheduled to start on November 10. Dinamo Kazan, Lokomotiv (Kaliningrad region) and Uralochka-NTMK (Sverdlovsk region) received the right to play in the group stage from Russia among women's teams.
